Black male, born August 2000
Handsome black boy, very outgoing and inquisitive. Life is exciting for him. He is a son of our wonderful Susie who now lives in New Hampshire! Many of his siblings live with our adopters and we would hope he has the same luck as they did! Older kids would be fine but no cats please!

Fawn male, born April 2003
This big boy is a bit shy at first but really looks for a person to lean against. He has adjusted well to life here at Grey Haven and will continue to blossom in the right home. He could live with a female, larger dog, but would do best without any males or cats or tiny dogs.

Chickie has been waiting a long time for a home of her own. She is a brood mom and knows what she likes and doesn't like! She enjoys the company of the other dogs but should do well as an only dog. She prefers women over men but if a man is gentle and kind and has some patience he can win her over!

Black male, born September 2004
Cowboy is recovering from surgery to repair a hock that was broken on the race track. He is almost ready to be neutered and look for that special home. This is one very sweet, kind boy. He gets along well with all the other dogs and lives with a tiny min pin with no problems.

Brindle male, born August 2005
This very good looking, lanky brindle boy has had a rough start. Someone was not kind to him and he is not the least bit happy when someone grabs his collar to move him from point A to point B. But Crow is making lots of progress ... he now will go in and out of his crate and the kennel with no prompting. Crow will also now come up to us for a pet -- but is still quite wary of anything new in his life. He will need a quiet home with structure and routine. He will do best with another greyhound or two and we all feel that given the right surroundings, this boy will be a real love.

Female, born April 2007
This is one adorable 16 month old!!! The pictures were taken after she had been spayed and refused to walk out to the van! She is sweet! She lives in a foster home with other dogs and gets along well with everyone! She loves to play and seems to be a very laid back little girl. She has never raced or learned to race ... she just wants to be someone's little girl.

Mary is another young brood who loves people and is happy surrounded by all her friends! She is gentle and has a very special sweetness about her.

Click here for Nancy's picsBrood BadgeNancy

Brindle female, born July 1999
Nancy had a long race career and then went back to the breeding farm to have puppies. She is more than ready to have a home of her own. She has a strong personality and probably won't live well with cats or very small dogs (she did like Marilyn's whippets though!) She has corns on all four feet and has recovered well from having them removed. She would do well with a few other dogs or as an only dog.

Brindle male, born August 2005
Ringo is another very special brindle boy. He is very laid back and not much seems to bother him. Ringo gets along great with all the other dogs and will make a wonderful addition to the right family!

White/brindle male, born August 2000
This handsome gentleman is a huge smiler! When Russo is happy, he just curls that upper lip back and wags his tail furiously. He will do better in a home with one or two other dogs and no cats. He is a leaner and really would like a mom and dad of his own.

Red brindle male, born January 2005
Thomas is one handsome boy who loves when we have company!  He can't wait to meet everyone.  He is young, healthy and active...he really needs a fenced yard where he can run and play.

Red brindle male, born July 2003
Wally wants nothing more than to have a family that loves to go places and do things. He is a busy boy....always running through the kennel looking for a toy that may not have been put away. He never met a stranger and will do that famous greyhound lean if he isn't too busy trying to get you to play!

Update 11/08: Wally learning how to use his leg again

Zulu (aka Zoey)Zulu (aka Zoey)

Fawn brindle female, born January 2003
Yes, we have two girls called Zoey! This Zoey is happily living in a foster home here in Florida. She is doing beautifully as an only dog. Her house manners are perfect though she would prefer to not ever see a crate again!! She broke her leg racing a few years ago and it was never set properly. She has a slight limp but this does NOT hinder her activity level at all! She is smart, outgoing and loves all people!!
